I have to make a review about this movie. This is the film that has been loved by the critics. It has been nominated for eight Oscars, including the big four of acting apart from best picture and director. Bradley Cooper plays Patrick, a former teacher who is suffering from bi-polar disorder, he’s a man with a plan, determined to get his estranged wife back, through a combination of exercise and self-improvement. He meets an unbalanced young widow (Jennifer Lawrence) who promises to help him, in return for his help in achieving one of her dreams.

What I love about this movie is the casting. Don’t worry, I will not brag about how amazing Jennifer Lawrence’s acting in this movie, since we all already know that she has won so many awards for best actress category. I love it because each characters fit perfectly and the actors/ actresses worked wonderfully to make this film amazing as a whole. The cinematography is not special but I think its a good thing so that it doesn’t overpowering the movie itself.

Silver Linings Playbook contained elements of humor as well as more dramatic moments. Even in times that seem dark, there are also moments of lightness, humor, and happiness. Silver Linings Playbook may not be an iconic classic or anything like that. This film is an edgy romantic dramedy that suits our anxious times. 4.5 out of 5 stars
